I don’t know about you but when we go to Olive Garden, it is tradition to dunk our breadsticks in their alfredo dipping sauce. A long-standing tradition. And, really, it’s more like we drown them. But that’s not the point. The point is, now with this recipe, we can drown our breadsticks at home, day or night, weekends, holidays, whenever we want. And now you can too! I present: alfredo dipping sauce. For all of your dipping needs.
1 cube butter/margarine
1 ½ cups heavy cream
2 T cream cheese
1 t garlic powder
½ cup grated parmesan
1 ½ cups grated mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper
Combine butter, cream, and cream cheese in saucepan. Using whisk, stir over medium/low heat until smooth. Add garlic powder and parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring often. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with butter parmesan breadsticks.

When you say 1 cube of butter how much are you referring to?
1 cube of butter is 1/2 cup of butter . . . sorry for the confusion.
No, its ok. I just am used to hearing a stick instead of cube. Trying your sauce out tonight!
Ahh. Makes sense. I hope you enjoy it!!
