Sometimes I can’t wait two days to have the most amazing chocolate chip cookies on the planet. I need dessert now!! In that case, I buy the following three ingredients and have dessert within minutes. AND I make cookies to have in two days as well. Yeah, I’m no dummy. This is a great dessert to serve a crowd. Especially during strawberry season.
1 box Strawberry Danish Dessert (found next to the boxed pudding)
1 quart strawberries, washed and sliced
1 angel food cake
Make Danish Dessert according to package directions for fruit sauce (using 2½ cups water). Cool slightly. Add sliced strawberries. If serving warm, serve immediately over sliced cake. If serving cold, cover top of sauce with plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator. Serve over sliced cake.

Danish Dessert! I had forgotten all about Danish Dessert. Back in my college days several of my roommates introduced me to it (loooooooong time ago) and I loved using it. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of its virtues!
It is a classic, isn’t it? Love your wording (virtues)!! So true!
