Here is another fabulous recipe thanks to my friend, the crock pot. This would honestly be an easy alternative to Thanksgiving dinner . . . you’ve got tender chicken (you could use turkey), gravy, and stuffing, all from one pot. Or it makes a great Sunday dinner, winter dinner, Tuesday dinner. It’s easy AND fabulous. Bless you, crock pot. You complete me.
8-10 chicken tenders (or 4 chicken breast halves)
salt and pepper
1 c chicken broth
1½ c shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cans (10.5-oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
1/4 c milk
3 c Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
Salt and pepper chicken. Place in bottom of crock pot. Cover with chicken broth. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Mix soups and milk in separate bowl and spread on cheese. Sprinkle dry stuffing mix on soup. Pour melted butter over stuffing. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
