Chicken Julienne


My sister, Jane, introduced me to this magnificent combination of flavors . . . light taste of lemon . . . cream AND butter. The result? Tender, tasty, cheesy, sizzling chicken. Ahhhhhhh. Thank you, Jane!!


1/2 cup butter, melted

1/2 c flour

1 pound chicken strips

1 T fresh lemon juice

salt and pepper to taste

1 c heavy cream

3/4 c grated parmesan cheese

1 dash paprika


Butter baking dish. Dip chicken strips into melted butter, then flour. Place in dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour cream over chicken. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
