Deep Fried Mac and Cheese


You get two posts today. Do you know why? Freezer jam is good and all, but it doesn’t get our hearts racing like something deep fried. Not just fried; deep fried! We’ve tried homemade macaroni and cheese. Heavenly. We’ve even fried it. Divine. But, my friends, you are about to enter a whole new world of delicious. This is mind-blowing, life-altering stuff: deep fried mac and cheese. It’s the kind of food you look forward to. Plan in advance. Work your life around. Sort of like an upcoming vacation. It’s big!!


1 recipe of macaroni and cheese

1/2 c flour

2 eggs

4 slices of fresh bread, crumbed

vegetable oil for frying


Make macaroni and cheese. Chill for several hours or overnight. Using a 1-inch scoop, form macaroni and cheese balls. Roll in flour, beaten eggs, and then bread crumbs. Deep fry in hot oil (325-250°F) 5 minutes or until golden brown.
