Dulce De Leche Sundaes


They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. I’m just going to have to break that rule when it comes to this recipe. You see, I discovered this recipe in Vegas but just couldn’t let it remain a secret there. It’s so divine. So, so divine! It only takes three ingredients, but when you layer them together, it creates the most heavenly thing you’ve ever eaten . . . well, the most heavenly thing you’ve ever eaten that isn’t chocolate. Here’s what you’ll need:


Haagen Dazs Dulce De Leche ice cream

Mrs. Richardson butterscotch caramel topping, warmed



I like to start with caramel, then drizzle caramel on every layer, and end with caramel, but that’s just me. Start with whatever you want, layer whatever you feel like on top of it, and just keep going until the ice cream dish is full. (I like to cut the bananas in quartered slices because banana is such a strong flavor.) And trust me when I say that you’re gonna wish you had bought more than one pint of the dulce de leche ice cream. Once we discovered this recipe, we made these sundaes at my house every day for at least a week. Hmmm, come to think of it, I think that is also about the time we purchased our treadmill….
