Italian Pasta Salad

The trick to this salad is to add plenty of salad dressing. You want it to shine. Really shine. Sort of like a new car. Do you love the look and feel and shine and smell of a new car? We got a new-car-smell air freshener. Yeah, not the same as the real thing. There’s only one way to really get that new car smell. And that is with a new car. But that is beside the point. For this salad you want shine. So make sure you add plenty of dressing, for it is the dressing that will really give it good flavor and moisture. Delizioso!!

8 oz. Rotini (curly) noodles

1 3.5-oz. package pepperoni, sliced into quarters

2 stalks celery, sliced

1 6-oz. can olives, sliced

2 stalks green onion, sliced

1 cucumber, peeled, sliced, and quartered

1-1 1/2 c Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing (not low-fat)

2 t salad supreme seasoning

3 T grated parmesan cheese

salt and pepper to taste

Cook noodles according to package directions until tender (approximately 10 minutes). Drain. Mix noodles, pepperoni, vegetables, and 1 c salad dressing. Add salad supreme seasoning, parmesan cheese and salt and pepper. Mix well. Chill. Salad becomes more flavorful after several hours in the refrigerator as flavors have had a chance to blend. Before serving, add more salad dressing if necessary as noodles and vegetables may have soaked up some dressing while chilling. Serve cold.
