Luau

When you find yourself singing the winter blues, hold a luau! Every February or March, when winter is getting the best of us, we throw a luau party. We decorate, gather up all the plants in the house, wear leis and Hawaiian gear, and have great food. It really helps to “escape” to the tropics for an evening. I like to serve fruit dip with pineapple and bananas, Hawaiian Haystacks, and pina colada cupcakes.

This is a great idea! I think it will be happening at our house tomorrow night because waking up to fog and more snow this morning was just about too much for me to handle.

So, Lynnette, how was the luau? Did it get you through another snowy week? You may need to have another one from the looks of things outside . . . .
