Fastest. Meal. Ever. Ok, maybe it is more like a snack. Or an appetizer. Can you really call something that you microwave a “meal?” I usually don’t use the microwave as my main source of heat for “cooking” food but if you only need 25 seconds to melt that cheese and warm those chips, then that’ll do just fine. Make sure to use a paper plate, unless you love scraping melted-then-cooled-so-it-adheres-to-the-plate cheese off from plates. Or unless you have a turbo dishwasher that can remove anything from dishes. I don’t; therefore, paper plates! This is how we make nachos at my house . . . .
For each plate:
20 Nacho Cheese Doritos chips
1/4 c olives, sliced
2 T sweet onion, chopped
1/2 c Pepper Jack cheese, grated fine
1/2 c Colby Jack cheese, grated fine
Arrange chips on paper plate. Sprinkle olives and onions over chips. Spread cheeses evenly on top. Microwave on high for 25 seconds. Serve with soda. Tastes so much better that way. Don’t know why. It’s a perfect “meal!”
