Seasonal Fruit Salad

One of my favorite salads is seasonal fresh fruit salad. Sometimes I cut the fruit in large chunks . . . other times small. And you can play with the different colors and textures and combinations of fruit to get the salad just the way you like it. I like to use pineapple, green grapes, strawberries, watermelon, and cantaloupe because of their varied colors. It’s simple, yet a nice variety. See just how well they go together?

The trick to a good fruit salad? Use fresh ripe fruit (see tips for selecting fruit here) and chill it good. Cut it up just before serving.

Looks delish. I have been eating so much junk this week with visitors here it’s ridiculous. Maybe I should make this on the weekend to lighten things and myself up a bit.
