Tender Juicy Chicken


You might just look back on today and realize this is the day that your life changed forever, for with this recipe you can make tender juicy chicken . . . and here’s the kicker: it’s fast! This is another one from Jane. I tell you, Jane should have her own food website. Right?! When your family tastes this chicken, they will think you’ve slaved away for hours but, in reality, you spent minutes making chicken. Prep time=5 minutes, cook time=8 minutes, and tenting=10 minutes. That’s it. And you have juicy flavorful chicken that you can use in a variety of ways. Serve it warm in any recipe that calls for chicken or chill it for salads or sandwiches later. It’s versatile. 2 medium chicken breasts

1 T salt

1 T pepper

1 T garlic salt

1 T sugar


Slice each chicken breast in half (to ¼” thickness). Mix salt, pepper, garlic salt and sugar in bowl. Sprinkle seasoning on both sides of each piece of chicken. Lay chicken on foil-lined baking sheet. Broil 4 minutes. Flip over. Broil 4 minutes more. Tent with foil and let sit 10 minutes. Shred with forks and serve warm or cold.

      Right? I couldn’t believe how fast and how good it was. I’m thinking you could splash lemon juice on it or any other variety of flavors to tailor it to your recipe…. Oh the possibilities!! Nice hearing from you, Terri. :)
