Bacon Tip

Bacon. Just the name makes you want to jump up and down. Throw a party. Have a BLT. Love bacon! Here’s an easy way to cook it. A way that allows you to walk away, go take a nap, knit a sweater, or jog a few miles while your bacon is cooking. You totally don’t have to babysit it.

Cover a jellyroll pan with parchment paper. Lay bacon strips in a single layer on parchment paper. If you like curly/crispy bacon, ripple bacon instead of laying it flat. Like so:

Bake at 350 for 30+ minutes. It is a good idea to check it every minute or so there at the end to get it to just the right amount of crispy, usually about 35 minutes. Drain cooked bacon on paper towels. Serve immediately.
