Caramel Marshmallow Popcorn

Caramel popcorn with a twist! A good twist. Not like in the movies when they lead you to believe the girl will get the guy and then she doesn’t. That’s just the wrong kind of twist. And what about those movies that leave you hanging at the end? That’s no end. That may be a good “middle” of a movie. But I like things wrapped up and tidy at the end. Unless they have a sequel that comes out later the same day! LOL! Well, you’ll enjoy this good kind of twist. It’s soft caramel popcorn with marshmallow flavor. So twisted!!
1 bag microwave popcorn, popped (or 11 cups popped corn)
½ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 T corn syrup
½ t vanilla
12 large marshmallows
Place popcorn in bowl (remove unpopped kernels). Set aside. In medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and marshmallows. Turn heat to medium and heat while stirring until marshmallows are melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and pour over popcorn, stirring until evenly coated. Store in airtight container.
