Cream Cheese Frosting

This frosting seems to turn out perfectly every time. And it is so easy. (Do the four words “beat ingredients until smooth” even count as “directions?”) It is incredible on homemade oreos. Or carrot cake. Or sugar cookies. Or white velvet sugar cookies. Or a spoon….
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cube butter, softened
dash salt
3 cups powdered sugar
1 t vanilla
Beat ingredients until smooth. Store in refrigerator.
