Party Popcorn

We like to party at my house. Get comfy. Get a good movie. Pop some popcorn. Pour some white chocolate over it. That’s a good day right there. This is one of those quick, excellent, salty yet sweet desserts that is hard to beat.
1 bag light butter microwave popcorn
¾ c white chocolate chips
2 t shortening
3 T sprinkles
Pop popcorn. Remove unpopped kernels and place popcorn in large bowl. Melt chocolate chips and shortening in double boiler or mini crock pot. Stir until melted and smooth. Pour over popcorn and stir until evenly coated. Spread onto wax paper to cool. Immediately sprinkle with sprinkles. Let set for 10-15 minutes. Store in airtight container.
