This salad is a classic. It is simple. Fresh. Crisp. Delicious. My favorite way to eat it? Just lettuce and ranch dressing with bacon crumbled on top. There are other ingredient options too. Make it as you like it. For you are the master of your kitchen. You rule and reign. You are the boss!
1/4 head iceberg lettuce, chilled and rinsed (see lettuce tips)
2 T ranch or blue cheese dressing
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (see bacon tips)
1/2 tomato, chopped
1 T sliced green onions
Place lettuce wedge on plate. Drizzle with dressing. Top with your choice of tomato, onion and bacon toppings.
